J turned five yesterday! He is five! We had a wonderful day celebrating with him. He chose his breakfast (donuts and eggs), enjoyed celebrating with his friends at school, chose for us to take him to lunch at his favorite restaurant (Cracker Barrel), then had a lazy afternoon reading books with me like usual and then he took a nap. This was followed by completing a homework sheet of C's, dinner and then soccer practice (where he shared cupcakes and cold flavored water with his soccer teammates after they all sang to him). His first day of being 5, concluded with playing outside as a whole family, reading stories like usual and by this time of the day he was begging to go to sleep.
Our sweet boy is five... And amazing!
