Our Easter

This year we celebrated Easter in the Charleston area at our house. On Saturday morning James' had his final soccer game of the spring season. He is #10. James also scored a goal at the game. He was thrilled about it and showed husband James and I on the sidelines an ecstatic grin immediately following.

Saturday afternoon the boys painted Easter eggs.

.

On Sunday we went to the morning service we usually do. Below are the classic before walking out the door pictures. The "silly" face ones always being the best kind.

During the afternoon we had a family, we have become friends with, and one of James' bachelor friends over for an Easter afternoon feast. I've practiced a traditional Greek lamb and potato dish several times since moving here... And decided months ago that it was a MUST serve at Easter and to be concluded with a classic Tiramisu desert that my husband loves to devour. Thankfully my friend Sue, who truly deserves the majority of the culinary credit, brought several delicious side dishes to add to the lamb and potatoes. Our friends have a young four year old also, and all three boys enjoyed the search and the feasting of the Easter chocolates hidden in plastic eggs in our backyard. We had a wonderful and enjoyable Easter.
