Recently we have been really busy with James' preschool events and involvement, his swim lessons and enjoying leisure time with both of our adorable boys. James has become really comfortable in the water during his swim lessons and has the cutest vertical underwater kicks. Before swim lessons yesterday he told me "Mom, I can't wait to swim with Panera" (his swim instructor's name).
Gabriel's favorite recent activities consist of playing outside (especially at the beach and spotting birds in our yard).
These pictures are from James' school field trip to Gymstrada, at our favorite local Norfolk beach, and one of James making a sand angel on a few weeks ago during a colder day at Virginia Beac.
This week we had a "small" tornado run its course through our neighborhood... they estimate the center of the storm ran a diagonal course about 2 blocks away from our house. A scary experience! We are all fine and well now, however, our porch gutters still have to be repaired since they were ripped off during the storm.
I am anxiously waiting to open the presents that son James made me for Mothers Day. I already opened the card, of course, before Mothers Day. We are also taking a four day weekend, leaving Friday morning, to visit husband James' grandparents (Nana and Papa Boyce) in North Wilksboro, North Carolina. We are looking forward to spending time with family.
Great photos! The sand angel is pretty cute...
ReplyDeleteLooks like the weather is pretty nice down there, too. Thanks for the update!
